Lack of Social Workers

With all the social challenges occurring in our country, there is a large urgency for more social workers, not only to unburden the case load, but improve service delivery and reclaim the dignity of this profession. Why are there no social workers in schools? Thousands of unemployed social workers. This profession is not even respected by the department that has the biggest responsibility over it.
