Excellent Service

In an emergency situation, I contacted the Norther Cape Department of Social Development using the contact number on the website. The phone was promptly answered and a person enquired as to the nature of my call. I explained the situation - I live in Cape Town and that I was unable to contact an older person living alone in Kimberley. The person explained that she was at the provincial office and would have to relay the message to the regional office. To my absolute surprise, I received a call from two social workers 90 minutes later telling me that they were at the address I had given and were in the process of assisting the person living at the address. They also informed me that they would visit the address the next day to check on the person. Wow! it is refreshing and wonderful to receive service like this. Well done! to the N.
