Claim

I'm a single parent of 2, I stay I'm Mount Ayliff , eastern cape, I lost my sister in 2008 and was has been raising 3 of her kids I was 21 when this happened with no job I app**** for financial assistance at the mount Ayliff branch which I never got anything. At that time I had 1 child of my own and when I went to renew the application I was told I a under investigation. So I couldn't get grandfather nor food parcels. The department ket call me to update I did this in vain until I told them I'm tired coz the kids never received anything instead I was told that the social workers will come and review situation at home which they never did.

The older child from my late sister was in grade 3 when my sister passed on she is now 22 the second born was 3 years and the last born was 7 months. The second born is now 17 and unfortunately the last born passed away when he was 7 years he drowned In a hole that collected water nearby our house which was not covered and apparently this was a hole dug by one of the alfredo nzo or dept of public works service providers. No compensation whatsoever was done in respected of this cause I paid and covered all costs from my pocket.

When I wanted to claim for this I was advised the department will sue me and win the case so I left it.

I believe something should have been done and I believe I should be getting money from the grand as I'm self employed and not working for government I also want whoever's was responsible for the hole that was left not covered to compensate me and pay for the grief and expense I encountered and also receive the social grant payments from the time I app**** and nothing was paid
