Unprofessional conduct from Ipeleng testing centre officials at the eye testing centre.

Bad service and lack of customer care and Batho Pele principals.

Today I went to Ipeleng testing centre in mabopane to do my Prdp license. Upon arrival at 8:35 the doors we already closed and we were told that they have cut the line. We continue waiting till 8:45 and the door was open for us to access the eye testing centre, some official who was working on counter 15 told us that we must note that the center closes at 15:00, then he proceeded to work, I should say the official on counter 15 was unprofessional in all aspects you could think of, the same official kept on having visitors who would join him behind the counter and chit chat with then while slowly assisting clients. He cared less about the clients, he took his time and even eating in front of clients.

There was another official on counter number 8, a lady, this lady as well lacks proper customer relations s****s , she took longer in assisting one client than it was necessary, around 12:00 she unashamedly told us that she was tired, while on the other hand she kept on loitering and chit chatting on her phone, I raised an objection with her that she has no right to tell clients that shes tired, I also adviced her that if shes tired she must inform her superiors to relieve her and allow someone else to work on her space, at around about 14:15 she left her work station for no reason at all with her bad attitude.

I respect an official who was working on counter 10, he worked diligently and did all he could to assist clients, I challenge the department of roads and transportation to check and compare the statistics of official on counter 8, 15 with official on counter 10 to see what I am talking about.

Lastly it's quite shocking that there is about 15 cubicles but only 3 cubicles we serving us. The above mentioned official need to be trained on customer care relations as well as instill a sense of batho pele principles or they must resign and enable those who are committed to serve the nation to do so.
