WORST MATERNITY UIF EXPERIENCE

I app**** for maternity uif in June,a month before I went on maternity. The application was canceled without reason and I kept calling asking and everntually was told to end my docs to the uif department and they'd escalate. I did and no feedback.

When I finally went on maternity end of July (8months pregnant), I still was waiting on a reason so that I could rectify it. So I reapp**** in august and then it was not approved without reason.

I probably have called so many times asking for answers and today (28 days after I appealed the disapproval) to wait 90 days for feedback.

Basically I will go back to work still not paid out my maternity benefit.

It is so frustrating being pregnant and then giving birth and still have to worry about such issues. That time this money is deducted without hassles every single month! I am furious!

The physical centres are worse. The same June... I stood for 2 days in a queue...cold weather, with my big stomach and the center closed by the time I was at the front of the line. I went there do 2 consecutive days...standing there in the AMs. Goodwood satellite labour department.

I am going to try another department of labour center... I have to go with my child in the cold weather, with unrecovered stitches in the morning all because their systems are useless. There is no order! It is the most frustrating process I have ever had to experience!
