why are we paying UIF ??????

I am waiting since April 2021 for my uif claim, phone many times and every time there is someone telling me to wait 7 - 10 working days for my status to change from send to assessors to approve or what ever. now for the last twee weeks, there is no answer on the phone numbers or at the offices. why are we paying uif if we don't get our money when we need it, no one can give you a answer on what is going on with the application. i also Know of many other people who are also struggling with the same problem, but yet nothing is done about it, no one is trying to help us!!!
