Useless Department of Labour and UIF

So I claimed UIF on the 17th of May 2023 and apparently the claim was rejected on the 10th of July 2024 with a reason that I did not claim within 12 months of employment termination and I was terminated on the 30 of March. I called the call center numerous times however was never helped by any of the agents. I spoke to clue less Vutomi Ngubeni(C-***7 - 003365) who told me there is nothing that can be done I have to go look for employment now the same Department of Labour that deducted from me for more than 12 years.
