Urgent Follow-Up: UIF Application Submitted on 22 May & 23 July 2025
I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of my UIF application, which I submitted online on 22 May 2025 and again on 23 July 2025.
Despite repeated follow-ups and numerous calls to the Labour Department over the past three months, I have yet to receive any meaningful assistance or resolution. I have been repeatedly transferred between agents at the UIF call centre, with each promising to escalate my case. On several occasions, I was assured that Team Leaders would take action and that Manager Aubrey Memela would contact me directly. Unfortunately, when I finally did receive a call today from Aubrey Memela, it was abruptly disconnected, and no follow-up was made.
This lack of follow-through and accountability is unacceptable. My application has remained stagnant for an unreasonably long period, and it appears this delay is due to internal mismanagement or administrative oversight.
I respectfully request your urgent attention to the following:
A current and detailed update on the status of my application.
A clear explanation for the prolonged delay.
Immediate resolution of my application, or a specific action plan outlining the next steps and timeframes.
I trust that this matter will now receive the serious attention it deserves.
