Unpaid UIF Claim.

Why is UIF taking so long for approval and payment. I have been without work for a year now. All my documents were submitted on line October 2019, yet to this day, no payment.

Yet, just the other day, a couple got paid millions. Where is the fairness?

The only response I get, is claim is with assessor. I mean really. Through how many assessors does my claim have to go?

We are all going through financial difficulty. Claims submitted after mine, have been paid. How does that work?

No concrete answers are being provided. I have evidence that all correct documentation were submitted so I do not understand why the delay.

UIF should ensure that the older cases are addressed first. I have friends that submitted long after myself and have already received their payment within less than 2 months. Mine is approaching a year.

I have a recently disabled family member to support.
