UNPAID MATERNITY CLAIM!!!

i submitted an online application on 11 March 2021. I gave birth on 27/03/2021.

I have now returned back to work with no UIF Benefits being paid to me.

Each time i called to enquire, it was the same story - the assesors are evaluating the claim.

But did they care that i was on unpaid leave with a newborn and a toddler to see to? Who was going to assist me with my monthly expenses ? I am drowning in debt because my debit orders were not met!

This is not fair at all Yet UIF can pay Employers TERS. What about my money which was contributed monthly over the 7 years?

I will take this further as this is not fair to me!
