Unpaid maternity claim

After waiting two months for my maternity Uif I went back to the branch and only to find out my documents got lost .While I have proof that I submitted my documents and to who , they don't even care they just told me to go back to my Doctor whom I pay to fill my medical certificate and all those other forms to go to the relevant people to fill for me . My company doesn't pay a cent for maternity leave and this department is also so ******** . How do they think we survive!!!
