Unfairly paid

I am writing this email for you assistance please.

I have app**** for my maternity UIF on the 1st of September 2021. For my initial payment I received R139.76 on the 18 October 2021 which was less than what I have expected, because my total salary is R17000.00 and at work they paid me half and UIF was suppose to pay the other half as it is written on the website. My UIF cost to employer is R172.48 every month.

The second payment was R307.46 on the 19 October 2021. I was shocked and I decided to call and inquire about the payment. I made a call on the 20th of October 2021 to this number ***. I was informed that my UIF is approved and I should expect my payment anytime from November, December 2021 or even January 2022.

On the 19 November 2021 I emailed the manager Mr Andrew Mogonediwa to enquire an his response was as written below.

*Good day

You are receiving small payments because the form UI2.7 competed by state that you ll be receiving part of your salary during your leave.*

From the month of January I did not receive any payment and there was no communication from them. I then decided to personally go to the department of Labour in Brits, and to my disappointment I was told that my case is closed, when I asked how can it be closed when I have not received the full amount. That is when I was referred to the lady named Kefalotse. She too took m from pillar to post. Miss Kefalotse eventually referred to one of her colleague who called and informed me that they will pay me and it will be the last payment which is R279.51. Then I decided to send an email at *** on the 29 March 2022 but still there was no one who responded to my email till this day.
