Unemployment Insurance (*****) not Fund

It has been over 2 years my husband tried to claim UIF. He paid all of his working life towards a policy for the day he does not have an income. Then he got retrenched, send in everything (a couple of times) as requested and still did not receive a cent of his own money. 2 years later and the app just says "Pending" People went through tough times with Covid, and many lost their jobs. Now it is compulsory law that it be deducted from your salary - why if your money is not safe! You have to give your hard earnings knowing you will not get anything back when is crisis.
