Unemployment fund (UIF)

I registered with UIF over a year ago. I am now on Pension. worked for Unilever for 36 years and have paid UIF for 36 years. All my documents are correct. I phone UIF call center every week and log a call. I have even emailed the department in Pretoria. they have said all my documents are correct. It just sits in the system and there is nothing I can do. If you look at all the complaints on their website of how many people are not getting paid for over 2 years. I do not know what else to do. I am getting desperate as I am a pensioner.
