Uncaring Government Department

Having been retrenched due to the Covid-19 it is a most traumatic experience for me and my family.

I submitted my UIF claim online in April 2020 and to date I have not been paid out not even for 1 month. In this difficult time how is one supposed to live without any income and maintain a household of 5 with basic necessities? I plea to the powers that be in these departments to take cognizance of not only my claim but to also respond to email queries sent.

If I am suffering...how many more thousands of people are in the same predicament?
