UIF...A DISGRACE

This is the worst department to deal with. I have made a claim for maternity benefits in October 2020 and till date nobody has ever given me an answer as to why i have not been paid yet! I called a million times over in the past year and no news yet. Maternity benefits are supposed to help care for the baby as you do not get a salary when on maternity leave but this government expects us to feed our baby with air! I ma deciding to take this matter legally now as i am left with no choice. The call center agents are just illiterate and lack the knowledge of what they do!
