UIF Scandal

My name is Alison Marshall-Case No *** . I have been unemployed since March and received my Ters money and app**** for UIF in July. I received confirmation of my application in September and on their instructions have been going to the UIF office in Cape Town . Today 30th November was my tenth time. I have to borrow money everytime I go as no one will "employ"me as I'm over the 55 Covid 19 age but Not dead yet and Very capable of working . However I am frustrated and disappointed with the way we are being treated . We have religiously paid our UIF monies every week/month and would Not been able to apply for UIF if we didn't. Everytime I feel like I'm standing there Begging for money from the Government . There is No System in place and they '***** ' about being overworked and backlogged. In my humble opinion they are ***********. I stand in the same queue as the 1st timers /Maternity Benefits and those claiming Compensation . I leave my place in Grassy Park at 5sm just to be told at approximately 3.30pm that they will NOT be helping us . We fill in slips of paper with our Phone numbers and told we will be informed . NEVER TRUE ... I have been placed as gaurdian of my late brother's kids and so I take my role Very Serious . The youngest is going to Matric next year and with that is a lot of financial responsibility and I would just like to know if I can fulfill my promise and commitment I made to ensure that his kids got a good education as he wishes to go to University also . So my UIF money is to be wisely spent . However they making me beg for MY OWN MONEY and that is a disgrace . I have offered my services to assist but get "shot down"very quickly . I would highly appreciate it if you could investigate all the UIF offices in Western Cape as my fellow workers has also NOT received their monies . Thanking You in Anticipation - Miss Alison Marshall I
