Uif ******* system

Why do we pay for uif .. when it's time to claim as I'm unemployed the process to get the payment is so painful .. I sat a the unemployment office for almost three days eventually I did it online and a month later I am still calling them to find out if my payment has been processed.. its ridiculous and I think its *******
