UIF PAYOUT

Hi i have been a teacher for 10 years and was told to start paying UIF from my first salary.I have been struggling to get my UIF payout. I am 65 and sick since Covid .I have phoned uif call centre every day for the last week. They put the phone down when i asked for answers why i do not get payed. Even the team leader just put the phone down. Now very rudely they inform me for the first time that UIF only pay out for the last four years you pay UIF. I asked why was i forced to pay for ten years UIF and the they put the phone down. In other words i payed 6 years for nothing. What happened to that money? This is the first time that i hear that they only pay for the last 4 year of contribution. So the everyone must stop paying UIF and only pay the last four years. People working for 30 years pay money to whom or is the government taking the money or the employer?? Something does not sound good. Where is the money disappearing to and i think they should immediately inform the public paying UIF. In this week i got no feedback (e-mail) from them although they promised that the will escalate the matter. The rule actually say that you have to contribute for at least 4 year to get UIF. I think they are taking a chance with millions of lives. Can you PLS. follow up on this matter which sounds like ***** to me.
