UIF Payment Delay

I can never understand why an instruction on 7 working days for funds to reflect only for nothing to happen thereafter a claim has been approved and when calling in, you're told that the sms is incorrect it's just an automated response of which is very contradicting and misleading.

I have app**** for my funds on 27/04/2023 which was approved, signed on 15/05/2023 and got an sms to wait for funds the very same day and yo allow 7 working days for the money to reflect. I contacted the call center yesterday and was told about the sms being incorrect, I have see Facebook updates from people who have signed after me and have received their funds and others waiting for months before getting anything.

I'm failing dismally to understand how it is that these contributions are deducted month after month from us for years and yet obtaining them is such a hassle with no clear explanation as to why but instead being told to wait longer than the turn around time which was advised.

For the mere fact that we apply foe these funds when unemployed is because we are in need of them and this has to be taken seriously to some extent because it is unacceptable!
