UIF pathetic services

It is such an disgrace how we have to fight to get our own money. My baby was born in August 2023 & becoz I had a cesarean & dnt have a laptop I only app**** for my maternity benefits on 27 Sept 2023. I didn't really follow up afterwards as I thought I will get an sms or email if something more is required or just get an sms when I will receive my 1st payment. To my dismay I was so 100% wrong, received absolute no communication except for a pin nr to check on my application. My application kept on asking for my medical certificate I attached it online bearing in mind I have to go to a internet Cafe as all documents needs to be in PDF form. I tried uploading it several times but still it kept on asking for the medical certificate so I started calling the call Centre which told me they never received my medical certificate but I should email it, I sent the email and received an email back documents have being received they will be in contact if something more is required. 48 hours went by still no communication or payment I call again just to be told my UI19 form only has 1 signature it should have 2, I went to work to get the 2nd signature & resubmit everything but 48hours later still nothing. I go on Facebook and see how people is taking about people that works at dept of labour & how they get their money so I decided to email the following people *** *** *** *** *** & they told me to sent my documents to them which I did then I got an email they will revert back to me but they never did I still didn't get any money I keep on calling the call Centre which is of no help to me I keep on emailing these people and adding in more people *** *** *** *** but no one answers me & still no money received. My baby is 3 months & 2 weeks old but still no money and nobody is assisting me. Why do we have to fight so for our own money this is not money I'm borrowing from no one it is mine I worked for it.
