Uif overpayment

So in 2010 i apply for my uif and after how many months of waiting i finally receive my first payment in January 2020 with a x amount and then in February a x amount. I then got a job in the year off 2020 till the end of September 2022 my contract end. The company give me my uif forms to take in yet again have to go stand in line very early 03:00 in the morning after standing for hours went in at after 2 the afternoon just give in my forms the lady took my forms check it went on the system and tell me i own the department of Labour a R 5000 and they first going to check how much money i must get now and first take the R5000 i own them. I never got a Email in the time after my payment in January 2020 to say i have to pay R5000 back due to over payment and the next month i got a R1000 and something for uif is this now my problem that they over paid me i ask for them to over pay me im now jobless and have 1 child now you telling me you will first take your i own you. I never borrow money from uif im not going to leave it so.
