UIF not paid

I submitted my UIF required docs and I was advised to wait for Six weeks, its now 9 weeks and am still waiting, every time I go to check they tell me to wait another week. I am now ready to go back to work and yet I have not received anything. Why should I keep contributing towards UIF?
