UIF not helping already unemployed

Dear All, After spending more than an hour from a land-line and being sent from pillar to post, no one can advise as what to do to receive my UIF payment. I am unemployed, have no money for food and have been struggling since 26 March to sign on at the office in sasolburg, which was open on this day but were waiting for Government to give them the go ahead to process, as advised by Mr Lesenjego, chief of office is Sasolburg, was financial year end. After traveling to get there on this date, I and other unemployed people, who'd traveled just as far as I had, was advised to come back on 3 April by chief of the offices. I was there this morning and the offices refuse to do payments. When I asked the chief of this office, he advised to call the head office in Pretoria. He advised to come back on the 17th of April. On contacting the Pretoria Office on *** and speaking to several people no one could help with payments for the unemployed before Covid19. They are only there to help with Covid19 cases. I have no documentation and I'm only asked for my name and ID number when I signed on earlier this year. Please advise what can I do to get help. When do I get paid? And why are the UIF offices not helping the already unemployed.
