UIF_No funds yet

Still waiting for UIF payment after having a baby, I am due to return to work in June and till date I have been to the UIF office 5 times and calling the call center , applying online but no one gets back to me either do they provide any information.

Point one: I app**** on the 2nd March 2021 online, submitted all documents required. NO ONE called to say there was missing documents or what is required. My first baby so I expected some kind of direction from the UIF department or steps on what is required.

Point two: I went to the UIF office since I couldn't get feedback online or the call center , leaving my new born baby and going and standing in a line from 5am in the cold only to get to the front and them to tell me that my documents are missing. Which means another day of the line , living my baby and standing in the cold.

Point three : Finally, reached the front of the desk and go helped ,well the application was already on the system but then I was told to bring the baby birth certificate in 4-5 weeks and must follow the line again.

Point four: Call the UIF call center and everyone is clueless and don't know anything only can see missing documents but no one knows what documents and no one is telling me what I need to do.

Point five: The UIF office and the online application does not speak the same language,how are people supposed to be helped.

In the covid-19 times we expect the online to work so we don't have to go back and forth, we expect help so we don't have to look stupid Everytime we go to the UIF office, we have small baby's is not safe for mother's to leave our babies and go stand in long lines with no social distancing or help early in the mornings.

Why do they stay payout in 35 days when I am waiting for 4 months. I have not received an income for the last for months, I have hospital bills to pay , I have a baby that have needs and wants I have bills to pay but not a cent till date.
