Uif maternity claim

I went to the department of labour which is based in Orlando West to go claim for my maternity leave benefit money which I was taken from pillar to post. The first time I went there I was told my forms where incomplete then I was given other forms which I needed to fill and the doctor....well I did that & returned back to them so that was my second attempt where they told me about the form I need to take at the bank when I went to the bank by the time I wanted to return them it was already lockdown period so I decided to register everything online which was also a hustle cos they wanted forms which I had to fax which I did 3 times but everytime I logged in to see if the forms where received it still showed that they where not received so I’m asking myself why make a service to be available for us to use if it’s not going to correspond with the department of labour. Now it went on to level 3 the offices where opened I went in there to submit again and I was taken from pillar to post again where I was advised that I needed to submit my salary schedule & my child’s birth certificate because obviously by then I have given birth ok fair unfair I went back the following day with those documents but when I got there the following day I was told another story that I needed a form from my pass employee which didnt submit uif now how in the world am I suppose to do that when I explained that the company is closed down I was told my application won’t be approved i’ll have to wait 35 days before I can be assisted....why all the running around why wasn’t I told the first day when I went there & im only applying for the maternity benefit from my current company why is my previous companies involved???? Justice Ntsele which was the guy assisting me on my last in-counter never cared to explain he was just insisting on the 35days wait without any proper explanation....the system is just F****d....
