UIF Maternity Benefits Claim

I went on maternity leave on the 26 of June 2015 and subsequently app**** for my maternity benefits on the 03rd July 2015 at the Department of Labour in Boksburg. I was told it would take 4 weeks for the claim to be lodged but with no luck. I have been to the contact centre again 3 more times and resubmitted my documents because apparently their scanner was not working.<br> <br> I am now back at work for 3 months already and there is still no progress with this claim. I have been speaking to Angel Seloane but she fell ill so I had to resubmit my forms again and this time I spoke to Petunia Moloi and she said to give it 10 days. There are 2 more days left until the said 10 days and I have communicated with her via email to find out if there is any progress and she hasn't rep**** to my emails. It is going to be holidays soon and I will be told that they are closing and I will still have no information regarding the progress of this claim. Why are hardworking mothers being given the middle finger by the government. Where do our monthly UIF Contributions go???
