UIF Labour department, delaying tactics, lies

I started claiming via Ufiling for benefits to be paid out. September 2014. After numerous phonecalls, mails and phonecalls again I am now being told that I forfeit my benefits paid legally to UIF to be paid out to me since I took more than 6 months to claim my benefit pay outs.<br> No body informed me that you had a certain period to claim back your benefits from UIF Labour.gov.za<br> Is there any way to get paid out? <br> I am struggling financially. I only app**** for benefits September 2014 after my contract ended with my company January 2014.
