UIF is useless

After five attempts to register, I eventually managed to get registered. I had no idea how the process then proceeded but was elated that I’d actually managed to register.

I received an sms last week Monday advising that I would receive payment ‘up to 7 working days’. Lo and behold, 7 working days have come and gone.

I called them today and spoke to an immature individual who tried to equate her personal problems with someone like me who is unemployed. I did lose my temper. She informed me that it is actually BETWEEN 7 and 15 days!!! I hung up.

I called again and got through to an efficient young man who actually listened. He however said between 7 to 10 working days. Yet a different story.

I am so tired of the incompetence of these departments.
