UIF is a JOKE!

The UIF is a ridiculous joke of an entity. If any other business created the mess that is currently UIF the FSCA, OMBUDSMAN and EFF would have condemned them. I've waited since July for my UIF maternity benefit to pay out. This is not a grant or a favour being done for me. This is money that my company has deducted from my salary for YEARS and paid to the UIF so that I may be eligible for this benefit. UIF NEEDS TO BE TAKEN TO TASK!!!!!!!!

After submitting my documents a total of 5 times to various fax numbers, email addresses and Labour Department personnel I am told that I need to wait even longer and to "JUST BE PATIENT". The last update was in September with the administrator telling me to give it 6 weeks.

What recourse do we have when it comes to government departments??????
