UIF in SA a ****

I have been battling with a UIF claim for over a year. I was not advised of the correct documents required from the start. My claim was rejected for being a late application but one of the Labour Dept call centre agents confirmed that it was obvious that nobody has even looked at my claim/ documents and and that it was not a late claim as I have been busy with this claim since May 2023. I believe that South Africans are constantly kept on a line, asked for more documents and promised feedback that Never occurs. UIF seems to be a **** in SA. You can pay UIF for years but when you claim it’s a never ending loop of no answers or outcome.
