UIF Department of Labour falling apart

Why does UIF applications take so long to process? All you keep hearing is stories about paper work not done properly. When you do submit the documents they do not load the documents on your application. When you phone the call center you get told they will escalate but it never gets done. A simple thing like loading your declaration status for termination reason and date was sent a week and a half back but never loaded. Changing of banking details sent a week and a half ago never actioned. What is going on at the Department of Labour?
