UIF DEPARTMENT ***********

My first UIF claim has still not been paid after following the correct procedure online. I have submitted all the correct forms and documents by email to the UIF department and I have completed the continuation of benefits.

My status online says sent to Paymaster. This was on 9 February 2022. I called the UIF department on 1 March 2022 and they told me my payment is in progress and that I should receive it this week some time. It is now 36 days after I app**** on 14 January 2022 and have still not received any payment. I feel like I'm being given the run around as the UIF department have an excuse to delay payment every time I call them.

Can you please assist me with this situation as its not right that I pay UIF for over 20 years and cannot get my UIF payment when I have been retrenched.
