UIF department as good as non existent!!

I have been struggling to get in contact or get any response from the UIF regarding my claim because I was retrenched. They do not answer their phones when you call. The answering machine says welcome...blah blah and then ends the call. When you phone the number provided on the website, they say they only do covid related claims they cannot help you. They do not answer emails sent, and I have quite a few email addresses. The uif department is completey non existent. O yes, I rep**** through ufiling, but nothing is happening further. It says sent to assessor. Then that's it...nothing. I desperately need my money. This is really terrible and ridiculous!
