UIF department a complete let down..

I'm feeling so let down the UIF department. It's a system that should be put in place within a week or max 2 weeks to process. After being retrenched due to the unrest in July 2021 The claim for the unrest which my previous employer has submitted is still in process 7 months later and my unemployment claim is still in process for 5 months now. This is a failed system. When the funds are needed for survival and I can't even get a answer from the call centre really males one think of paying into a benefit for 12 years is really a concern if it's not available immediately Please I can't get any answers when I call and I call every day Please someone help..
