UIF DELAY TACTICS

MINUS STARS!! 50 or so of us were retrenched in October 2023, we have been submitting documents since November 2023. Some of our staff have been sent back and forth for something or other, most excuses don't even make sense (delay tactics???) Now they are being told that their 6 month claim period is over and they can't claim???. It is MANDATORY to pay UIF. We have been paying for DECADES yet can't claim our own money???? Does NOT make sense to me at all. People should NOT pay UIF and rather put that money in a separate bank account every month!!!
