UIF Claims not paid for over 15 months :-(

I got retrenched at the end of May 2021. Filed a claim June 2021 and more than 15 months later have never received a payment. After paying UIF for almost 20 years they assess for over a year. Come on even Sars has a quick turn around. Learn from other government departments. This is appalling service to say the least. No calls, no emails. I have to call in weekly and get told the case is being escalated with no resolution.
