UIF CLAIMS DEPARTMENT USELESS

This department is the worse ever. I was retrenched in February 2024, app**** for UIF in March, received my first payment 31st May 2024. Since then it's has been nothing but an uphill battle trying to get my second payments. 1, I was advised to do a continuation of payment of which I did on the 18th June 2024, it was sent to paymaster on the 19th June. 2024. Till date I have not received payment. 2, After enquiring with call center, I was advise to do another continuation of payment, of which I did on the 16th July 2024 and the next day paymaster canceled my payment.

I have been going to the UIF busses located across Soweto and constantly being turned away. Today I went again and was told they have cut the que because they have to go by 2pm and I was told this at 12 midday.

Do we really get treated so unfairly for money we are entitled to because we have worked for that money. I for one does not have money to always travel to UIF offices in Orlando every single day just to be turned back with no help, hence I need my UIF as it's currently my only source of income for me to be able to even look for another job.
