Uif claims

Good day my husband lost his job and went to register at the uif office nearby (bronkhorstspruit) he was given a date 13/04/20 to go sign but then covid19 and lockdown was implemented now the date fell on a public holiday when he went back to the offices they said he must wait and see what now we twins who have to be fed just like others who have children also rent to pay is there anyway we can be assisted with this matter we have tried going on line it keeps referring us to head office and they say keep trying once you are rejected you are out others who are in the same situation also are battling please help
