UIF Claims

in December 2014 i went and app**** for my UIF (First time ever I claim from my UIF Benefits) I gave them my forms UI 19 & UI 28 together with the correct FICA Documents (proof of banking October & November proof of address certified ID Copy ) proof that the company have been faxed the documents through to them I also gave them a list of all the companies i worked for as they cannot find them under my name or ID number I was told everything is in order and that my first payment will be with in 6-8 weeks which will be at the end of January 2015 I went back in January to find out if everything was still in order and when I can expect my first payment To my horror and surprise i had to find out they can't find my paper work i have to reply and wait another 6-8 weeks which means i can only receive my first payment in the middle or end of March i have emailed the labour department to find out what the procedures was on how to claim I did everything right the first time i went in December Why is that every time we go to find out if everything is in order they tell you they cant find your paper work Why must i wait another 6-8 weeks for my first payment I only have this month left
