UIF CLAIMED DURING MATERNITY LEAVE, STILL WAITING

Good day<br> <br> My colleague went on maternity leave the 1st of Jan 2015. She started work again on the 4th of May and have still not received 1 cent of her UIF....In the private sector it is extremely rare to receive a portion of your salary during maternity leave. She did not receive any consideration during her maternity leave, and is still waiting on payment of her first UIF<br> <br> Is it fair to pay your UIF monthly and when you actually need to claim, you wait for 5 months and then it is still not approved....?<br> <br> She was sent from pillar to post on numerous occasions, having the forms signed again and again after it was being lost / misplaced by the Employers in the Department of Labour Lichtenburg<br> <br> To whom can a complaint be addressed that will be actioned??
