uif claim for maternity leave

I app**** for maternity benefit last yr on 14 july hoping i will get my first payment on the 13 of Augus. Now my son is 6 month old. Still waiting for the first payment. When i ask they tell me application is still on process. But when i apply i was told it takes only 4 wks. I went back to work on the 14th November n labour doesnt frgt to deduct uif from my salary wrs they could not pay for my maternity leave. Am so disappointed with labour department coz they can't help the community n wn u call sometimes they dont answer the phone if they do they hangup.i realy dont understand y we shoul have labour in this country coz it is not doing its job
