UIF Claim

I am truly disappointed with the staff members hired by the department of labour, I called today 20/05/2020 @ 10:30am regarding my application which I submitted on the 13th of April 2020 and still haven't received feedback regarding that. I was employed on a month contract and just a week after being employed we then submitted UIF documents for us to be registered for the contribution, prior to that I had been contributing to UIF for 4 years consecutively. While I called, a very rude lady Tshegofatso Moeketsi was impatient in assisting me and she told me UIF can't pay me and I would be wasting her supervisors time if I had to speak to her because, they have a backlog and they are frustrated by the number of calls coming through, she shouted as I kept quiet, even after asking her to relax because I needed clarity, she made it hard for me. Do we belong to a government that hires unprofessional individuals or we belong to a government that supports equality? I am worried, had it not been the case of a national pandemic, I would still be employed. I am now sitting home, unemployed, no source of income, can't qualify for the R350.00 grant, can't get my UIF, Food parcels are given out through back doors, some sold to people like me with no money. What was the reason for my UIF contribution, tell me why the hell I would wanna contribute in future? The POPI act should be implemented as soon as possible by the government so I can have my name removed from every sector. The *******ion going on in our country is ****ing most of us, our people are at risk of everything, the government making it hard for us, private companies not even entertaining paying anyone who isn't at work. I am truly hurt, the department of labour is a joke. We are not protected, we're just drained money and this is bound to continue due to the cabinet involved in processing claims and payments of claims.
