UIF Bad Service

I've been paying my UIF for almost 10 years now, and now when I need it most - the department of labour fails to serve, I heard ppl actually saying that you need connections to get fully assisted for UIF and then pay the connect once Ur UIF claim has been approved, I app**** first week of march, I still cannot get help it's been 4 months: they say my claim is with the assessor
