UIF Appeal Process

I was dismissed and the company said that I had absconded in Oct 2014, I proceeded to the CCMA whereby it was found to be an unfair dismissal. I then went to the Department of Labour benoni branch to claim UIF and they were renovating and had to go to either brakpan, boksburg, germiston. Due to financial reasons and my son's hospitalization I app**** using the u-filing so to ensure that I was in the 6 month application period. I mailed department heads so that I would have proof that I app**** in time. In May I went to brakpan office where I was advised that there was no trace of my online application and therefore claim denied. I was assisted by Ansley Jacobus to lodge an appeal in writing in June. Since my application I haven't heard any feedback from Ansley Jacobus, then mailed uif complains and was assisted by Tsidiso Thamaha who advised me that he would follow up on appeal. It is mid august and I have not heard anything, when I call there is no evidence that my appeal has been lodged when I queried when this board meets so that I could be there I was advised that I could not. My concern is how do I know whether the appeal is fair and without *******ion. I am still waiting
