I have a problem with labour department I was in maternity in February till June I app**** for maternity benefit since I was not getting paid at work.i went to labour centre in Johannesburg CBD main Street that's were I got assistance with submitting my documents I received my 1st payment I was advised to submit my second payment on the 30th of March I went back to submit the documents but I was advised we need to use their app of which I was assisted with that but I wasn't advised I need to add medical certificate I tried to insert the medical certificate but it wasn't allowing it I call their call centre which ntswaki advised me I don't need to add that document fine she said it still within turn around time I called in after few days and I was advised they are escalating a case so I must not attach the document but I can see that the status is not changing on the app it's still saying scan medical certificate called In again I was advised same thing until I managed to get an agent who was will to go an extra mile who requested I should send her the form that's what I did hit she noticed I took a picture of the doc with my phone that's is why it couldn't read the form so she advised me too go to internet cafe to scan the document after doing that I was able to upload the document and received the 2nd payment spoke to Duncan the team leader who advised I should submit the last payment and he will call but he didn't am still waiting for my last payment from the 10th if may till now when you call the call centre they advised they can only assist with escalating the query as call centre can do anything they can't even follow up with finance I had a very bad experience with labour please help me to get my last payment
