UIF - 16 Months NO PAYMENT

I have app**** for UIF benefits post retrenchment. Dec 2020: I was retrenched in December 2020. Mar 2021: I submitted my UIF claim vial U-Filing on 29 March 2021. I followed up several times , telephonically, with the U-Filing department and was advised on 21 November 2021 that my claim was with the assessor. March 2022: Once again after almost weekly calls, I received a request for further documentation in March 2022. Post sending the additional information requested, I have made weekly follow up calls again - still with absolutely no timeline on when I will receive my payment. July 2022: It is now the 27th July 2022 and nobody is able to advise what is holding up my payment. I have sent several emails to the UIF compliant email box and there has been no response there either. This department is a joke and an absolute disgrace to our country. With unemployment being as high as it is, surely this team can be diligent enough to ease the burden of not being employed. I am 100% certain that no-one is reading this site or even interested in responding to anyone here!
