Ufiling - missing in action

I submitted a claim for my December UIF unemployment benefit on the 29th November 2019. To date it has still not been paid. The website is offline more than its online. None of the contact numbers on the site are answered - in fact it disconnects when you’ve dialed. I’ve sent 4 emails to 4 different departments as per the website info. I’ve had not a single response. My local uif office says there’s nothing they can do since I use ufiling - I must speak to Jburg.

So not only will my family have a dark Christmas thanks to Eskom - they won’t have Christmas at all thanks to the Department of Labour.
