I started applying for maternity benefits before my baby was born. Baby is almost 9 months old. I am not getting anywhere with this. It seems like their job is to make it impossible for me to get the funds. We should be given the option not to contribute. I could have just put money away and spared myself the back and forth. Between them being offline for months and being online and helpless.
