Suffering in silence

It is so heartbreaking that at a time of a global pandemic we still face so many hardships especially when it comes to the process involved in claiming for Uif which is the only form of income some of us can get. I was dismissed from work a week before lockdown in March on the 19th. I have since been applying for Uif with no luck to date. I've been told that I cannot apply because 3 of my previous employers didn't submit my Ui19 documents to them. During a worlwide crisis how is one expected to approach companies requesting them to forward documents? I've been since doing so with fail and it is now 4months without an income. It's sad the government always says they make things easier and simpler for all of us yet our lives are a complete mess and some of us are moved from pillar to post while we continue to suffer in silence. Please be reasonable and transparent. We need a resolution
